Live - from Chiangmai, Thailand.

Sawadikap!
This trip has been a quick planned one, a trip for our family before sis hop into working life, my lil sis and me commencing our u. Holiday may not be easily gained soon after, so I must follow, and I think of rejecting too. I wasn't looking forward to this place before, I didn't even learn any language or look through the map, there comes the last and best solution - $.

Then, Chiangmai starts sending out his charisma.
Stepping into the region I suddenly felt illiterate.
"this is how my grandma feel everytime she join us travelling",  I thought.
Every conversation turns into a very easy one - sawadikap! tao lai? mai ao/kopunkap!

Basically we just talk to the locals during bargaining, the rest would be action movies. HUH HAH!
We stayed in the hotel located right in the middle of the city, and the night view was pretty amazing. Street lights, night markets, lights from the hotel rooms opposite. Not as cool as KL or PG, but the second largest city in Thailand has his own attraction.(No photo at the moment, strongly suggested to use your imagination =D )

I just got a Thai massage couple of hours ago, no oil d. I'm still wondering why I couldn't sleep. (I should be getting a great slumber after the massage I suppose-.-) So I ended up blogging. =D

What kind of opportunity you could follow a trip, which you wouldn't need to pay a single penny, and you get full first class service and free meals? either ALS, or a trip with family. Since 31st, Dad's the sponsor, he pays for the trip and we still get shopping subsidize =D So respect your dad, even he sometimes wouldn't listen to you. Respect your dad because he has his own plan, a better plan than yours. Respect your dad because he suffered so long, working so hard to pay for you and your siblings, your mum, by using the money he earned by himself. Thanks dad, SALUTE.

Mum and sis are classic shoppers, they will be taking long times to just visit a stall, then another stall. Criticizing the things I feel worthy, buying the things I felt unworthy. There's something we all agree - the food are so different then what we expected. Perhaps the Thai restaurant at Sg.Petani suits us better. (oh p/s: the chili here are named as piklampa.) and the pork sausage here - SO EWW! hahah!!

I enjoy walking down the market, either the long long Sunday Market, or the market just next to the street of the hotel. Watching locals selling goods without price tag, and you shall learn the way to hold the deal!
"this MU 1 thousand"
"ohh nono. 4 hundred"
"cannot. 7 hundred"
"nono. 4. hundred"
"this one quality good, 5 hundred"
"nono" waving~
"ok 4 hundred"
so that's how easy the words are. No special exaggerate adjectives or bombastic explanation. Money talks.

The morning here are quiet, the streets are so peaceful, driving down the street, temples alongside, laundry shops, massage rooms, no bungalow. HOW UNIQUE. <3 it!
You see if you're a person who don't urge to live a great great life, go Chiangmai. People here are those who live simply, very simple. Tut tut car in around the city cost 20 bath per head, no matter where. Foods in the shopping mall food courts are just at the range around 30 bath, even the so called 4th best coffee in the world are just sold at 60 bath. Sense of monetary gain is not as strong as in M'sia, so you shall start planning bro! hah! Not too many night life, (I haven't seen any so far), you can get iphone5 at 5000 bath. =D
Guys please take note: MANY PRETTY GIRLS HERE. No joke, there are even young lady put on make up, mini skirts selling fruits here! I was like, where is M'sia?! Dressing well, pretty, sexy to the night market eating hawker stalls curry mee is nothing, very common. Come on man, m'sians are still in t-shirts!

Ohya, Good for the Buddhist. So many temples around. If you think you need a more convincing reason for you to have a belief, you shall come for a visit.

Happy travelling. Wish to visit here again.
这个地方实在令人流连忘返,我带着依依不舍的心情回家去。
